Hi everybody.
My name's Bashu, and I've got a recent accordion habit.
I was mostly using it to write my own songs, like
here, but it's true that when you play accordion, you get a lot of requests to play places, and an Italian restaurant has engaged me to quite happily play classics on its patio for customers. I'm pretty satisfied with this gig,
But I seem to have a limited repertoire. Does anybody have any suggestions for songs that are nice to hear in a restaurant on accordion? Especially some soft Italian ones. I think the chef would be happy to hear that.
Also, I'm never quite sure if I'm being too intrusive, or on the other hand not engaging enough. I try to intuit it. Does anybody have any advice, especially anyone who's done this kind of gig before?
Thank you very much for any answer you give.
